Main Ideas? (Why the French Revolution Happened?)
The Third estate was angry at the First estate. They wanted everyone to be equal
and to have the same rights. So, they called for a reform. The First and Second
estates voted against them. The third estate grew even more enraged and created
The National Assembly. They soon became fearful of the king because they thought
the King would disband their Assembly. Their fear of the King made them storm
the castle Bastille which marked the beginning of the French
Revolution.

Details?
There were Three estates in France. The First estate was basically "The Party of the Rich". This includes nobles and the King. The Second estate was "The Middle Class". They consisted of merchants and shopkeepers. The majority of the people were of the Third estate (70%). The third estate wasn't able to pay off their debts and were relatively poor.
The French government was spending more than it took in. This is why the French Revolution started. The rich were getting richer and the poor were getting poorer. People wanted change.
